At Feline Good Café, we’re on a mission to help rescue cats find their fur-ever homes and bring back community-focused third places.
That’s right, every whiskered friend you meet here is up for adoption! So while you’re sipping your paw-some drink, you are also helping a furry friend find their happily ever after.

What We Don’t Value
- Harassment, discrimination, and other uncool behavior. If you’re gonna be mean, we’ll have to ask you to leave.
- Prioritizing profit over the health and safety of our cats. What a claw-ful thing to do.
- Inhumane treatment of animals and/or people. That’s not the vibe.
Our Story
A place to call our own.
We started off as a group of four UNT college students trying to better the conditions for animals within the community. We would meet in various locations like the UNT Library and the local cafés. However, none of these places were within a whisker’s length of what we were looking for.
Alexis was the first to come up with the idea after spotting a stray kitty roaming outside our window. We of course weren’t allowed to bring her inside, but that’s when it hit us –a relaxing place to study where we could vibe with animals. A place where animals and good vibes combine. We decided to take the stray kitty in and named her Hope, becoming the first step to something cat-tasic.
It was Alexis who asked the question, “What if we could have a way to both make a safe place to study but also help cats find a forever home?” In that moment, we began brainstorming the purrfect idea! The first ever Denton Cat Café.
Our café is the cat’s meow for hanging out with friends, getting work done, or just paws-ing from your day. From mocha to meowcha, cappurrccino to catpuccino, we’ve got something to get coffee lover making biscuits.
So, come on in, get your paws on a delicious treat, and maybe leave with a new feline bestie. You’ll find that life’s better when you’re feeling good and feline good!
What Makes Us Different
I mean, we’re the only cat café in Denton, so the bar’s not really high….
Jokes aside, at Feline Good Café, we are committed to creating a welcoming, relaxing space where guests can feel closer to our community and our feline friends. Every member of our staff can say we paws-itivly love what we do, and it shows through the happiness of our staff, cats, and guests.
