Congrats, you’re a Ragdoll!

Similar to their Siamese cousins, these cats possess distinct color points that are affected by their body temperature. Where warmer parts of the body are lighter while cooler parts of the body are darker, giving their color point appearance. However, unlike the Siamese these cats are quite docile and prefer quiet company. Coming from the streets of California these cats are thought to be related to Birman and Persian cats. Although their exact lineage is unsure their distinctive markings cement them as a popular cat breed to this day.

They have an extremely docile nature and prefer to stay indoors to cozy up on the couch. Just like the Ragdoll you have the want to stay at home and relax by either playing video games, watching media or reading a book. You might take the scenic route and tend to take things slow, one day at a time. You might be told you have a laid back or chill nature which embodies the ragdoll’s energy.

Believed to have originated in the Archangel Isles in northern Russia, Russian Blue cats are a distinct breed known for their striking appearance, dense short blue-grey coat, and green eyes. Fun fact: it is theorized that these sleek felines descended from the esteemed pets of Russian czars!

Russian Blues are curious, loyal, intelligent, and playful around familiar people. These cats have been featured in various works of literature and art throughout history, symbolizing elegance, grace, and mystery. Like Russian Blues, you value your independence and love having a daily routine. Others often describe you as having a graceful and introverted demeanor. Because of these traits, you are also a keen observer who your friends often seek the most insightful advice!

Congrats, you’re a Norwegian Forest Cat!

Norwegian Forest Cats are originated from Northern Europe, said to have been brought to Norway in around 1000 AD by the Vikings. These harsh environments have made the species adapted for colder climates such as Norway, with long, glossy hair and a woolly undercoat for warmth and insulation.

Norwegian Forest Cats are gentle, intelligent, and friendly creatures, but don’t require constant attention to be purr-fectly content! Like Norwegian Forest cats, you can be a little reserved around unfamiliar people, but once you start feeling more comfortable your lively and affectionate side quickly jumps out. You have a down-to-earth demeanor that mostly loves connecting with others in outdoor activities. You are often one to suggest going for a walk in the park, fishing at the lake, or even skiing down a mountain!

Congrats, you’re a Maine Coon!

Often called the “gentle giants” of cats, Maine Coons are super friendly and loyal to their loved ones. They originated in Maine and are actually deemed the official state cat! This breed is one of the largest around — the Guiness World Record holder for largest housecat is a Maine Coon named Barivel.

True to their barn cat ancestors, Maine Coons are intelligent hunters and are well-suited for learning tricks or playing challenging games. Like Maine Coons, you are curious and open-minded to the world around you. You enjoy hanging out with friends and playing games during your free time. While you find that others tend to be intimidated by you upon first impression, all it takes is a quick conversation to realize you are very warm and welcoming!

44-51 points

Congrats, you’re a Siamese!

Siamese cats originate from Thailand and have slowly been introduced to the western world in the 18th century where they began to become popular among the rich. Known for their distinctive light-colored bodies and darker colored muzzles, legs and tail, they are often the symbol of beauty among felines. Their fur color is affected by temperature, where warmer parts of the body are lighter while cooler parts of the body are darker, giving their color point appearance.

Siamese cats’ personalities are intelligent, affectionate, and often seen as the purr-fect personification of feline elegance. You take pride in your appearance, often enjoy the arts, and look at the world through curious eyes.  You may spoil yourself to a tasty treat or try something new to expand your experience. This is of course not just limited to things; you most likely enjoy being around or meeting new people too. Just like with Siamese cats; you probably have one favorite person you always like to be around.

52-60 points

Congrats, you’re a Bengal!

Bengals are beautiful exotic hybrid cross between an Asian leopard and domesticated cats like Abyssinians and the Egyptian Mau. Despite their domesticated house cat appearance, their personalities have the soul of the wild within them. Bengals are known for their exotic leopard spots where their spots have a dark rim known as rosette.

Bengals are a feisty breed of cat, eager to explore the world. Unlike other cats, they keep their kitten personalities throughout their adulthood. They are the adventurers of the cat world and just like them, you strive for the next new thing and love to be outdoors. You take the world on with childlike wonder and love to interact with new experiences. You love to be outside and explore the world’s natural beauty. You are extroverted and can’t stand to be alone for long periods of time. Just like Bengals, you can’t sit still for long and love to chat or do things with friends.
